Project Announcement

In the photography challenge post, I mentioned I was working on a project but not ready to announce it to the world yet, well the time has come to announce my project........

I am writing a book of science crochet with the draft title Boom.... Science. Scientific Crochet Projects.

Since this project is still being developed I will tell you about what will be in it and where I am in the process.

This is a project I have had in mind for some time and had been slowly working on. Then when I set up this blog it gave me the momentum to move forward with it. That is what I have been doing and the pace has picked up.

I plan to have more than thirty projects all based on science and give them a creative crochet flair.  There will be practical items such as coasters as well as decorative items.  My progress so far is, I have crocheted most of the items, created patterns for them and have begun to photograph them (with help from my feline inspectors).

Whilst I am finishing crocheting the items, photographing them, and writing the patterns down I am designing the book to see how it will all come together.

My lovely sister will be testing the patterns for me and providing other non-crochet support to me, for which I am so grateful.

My lovely mother has agreed to model for me, again I am so grateful.

As the project develops I will keep you all posted.
